This event is an SCCA Regional and is run in conjunction with South Jersey Region SCCA. This is a new event on the V8RRS by WCIParts.com calendar and Moe has promised it'll be worth the trip!  ;)

good fun today @ NJMP, I didn't do very well wrangling up new V8RRS members, but Mike Longo, Chris Gill, Steve Minghenelli, and myself had a good time,

Sat AM qualifying (between the raindrops) went like this;

Sat PM race (rain before, but clear during) went like this;

https://www.race-monitor.com/Results/Session/6133530

Mike and I were both on old tires, and out of tires after the first 4-5 laps, hopefully his Go-Pro was on & we'll have some entertaining video

my car broke (trans/rear/both??) on the way back to the trailer after the race  8) So, I'm done for the weekend

stay tuned

Update from my end. Sunday we decided to test a new rear break package in the race because there was no down side to doing so. The test went well and I decided to bring the car in in one piece after I was confident in the brakes. So for the first time this year I can go on to the next race without any major repairs. See you all at The Fun One.

Also a huge congrats is owed to Andy. breaking the track GTA record by 3/10 in Q trim. Guess the tape one the nose really does help ;D
Keep the shiny side up!

Thanks Mark, that fast time was in Sat. AM qualifying.
The racing groove was dry, everything else was still wet.
I was being careful,  trying to stay in the groove and off the curbing,  it kinda surprised me when I saw the times

Sat PM race from Mike Longo's car;

1st half - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3wbLoNxDok

2nd half - it starts becoming obvious around the 5 minute mark that neither of us have much in the way of tires left
